How does Perch Block work?
A motion sensor triggers sound and an LED flash to discourage pigeons from landing nearby. Position the sensor toward the area you want to protect, with a clear line of sight.
Will it work immediately?
Results vary with placement, the environment, and established bird habits. Continued use and adjusting placement may be needed. Keep the area clean and remove accessible food sources.
Can people and pets hear it?
Sound may be audible to people and pets. Use outdoors and position thoughtfully around neighbours and animals. The night setting uses the LED flash without sound.
Does it need direct sunlight?
The top solar panel needs access to sunlight. Use USB-C charging as backup during prolonged cloudy conditions or in shaded locations.
Where should I place it?
Use a stable planter or soil bed with the sensor facing the approach area and the solar panel clear of obstructions. Larger or irregular spaces may need more than one device.
